We charge authors because this is a self-publishing model, where the author retains full ownership and rights to their book. In self-publishing, the cost of professional services such as manuscript editing, interior design, cover design, marketing, and distribution is borne by the author. We provide these services to ensure the book is print-ready and professionally presented. Additionally, we handle inventory management and order fulfillment at no extra cost, so the author only invests in creating and publishing the book while keeping complete control over it.
You have full freedom to decide the MRP of your book, as long as it’s above the Minimum Selling Price. We’ve added a simple price calculator on our Packages page, so you can play around with different price points before deciding. Keep in mind, the calculator gives you an estimate the exact profit is worked out in real time with every sale and shared with you openly.
Our royalty payment process is simple and transparent. Royalties are credited once a year, provided the amount has reached a minimum of ₹5,000. Detailed sales reports are shared with authors via email, and you can also request an update on your royalty status anytime.
We work closely with each author to ensure the publishing process is smooth and professional. On average, it takes about 2 months to complete all stages—editing, design, formatting, and printing—before your book is published. Timelines may vary slightly depending on the complexity of the project, but our team always strives to deliver as quickly and efficiently as possible.
You can easily order copies of your book whenever you like. All you need to cover are the printing and shipping costs. Printing usually takes 7–10 working days, after which your copies are delivered to you.
When your book is sold through e-commerce platforms, they usually charge a distribution fee of up to 50% of the MRP. This is a standard practice across most online marketplaces.
Print-on-demand means your book is printed only when an order is placed. This eliminates the need for bulk printing or storage, making the process more cost-effective and risk-free for authors.
Your manuscript needs to have at least 50 pages to be published as a book.
The Minimum Selling Price is the base price of your book, calculated by adding the printing cost and distribution charges. You can set your book’s Selling Price (MRP) at this amount or choose any price higher than it, depending on the profit margin you’d like to keep.
Primarily your books will be available for sale at our store and other stores such as Amazon, Flipkart, Kindle or as per the distribution agreement.
