Why This Book Matters Now
Awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder is growing across India. However, many families still struggle to find resources that are both clinically informed and easy to understand.
The Sensory Child addresses this need by bringing professional knowledge closer to families. Dr. Garg draws on his experience of working directly with children and their families.
Moreover, the book encourages readers to look beyond behavior.
Instead of focusing only on what a child does, it encourages families and professionals to consider why the child may be responding in a particular way.
This shift can lead to greater understanding and more thoughtful support. Most importantly, it encourages a perspective based on curiosity, empathy, and individual needs.
